The Zimbabwe Limited Liability Company (LLC): it has to appoint at least one director and one shareholder who can be of any nationality.

Those who invest in an LLC, can choose the share capital limit for their company and therefore, complete the incorporation process. Submitting annual audit reports to the Register of Companies is not an obligation.

The Zimbabwe Joint Stock Company: is recommended if investors want to list their company publicly with the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange and offer shares to the general public. There are no limits on the share capital required for the constitution of the same.

The registration fee is, approximately, $5 for every $100 of the company's share capital, and with a minimum fee of $100. It takes 2 shareholders and a director to establish the Joint Stock Companies. Finally, Joint Stock Companies, are required to submit annual financial reports and have to appoint a legal auditor to perform that task.

A foreign company can open a Branch in Zimbabwe and have the opportunity to do business in that country. Its range will depend on the Parent Company. Additionally, the Branch may have an independent management team and a corporate bank account based in Zimbabwe.

With a Representative Office, you have the option to be 100% foreign owned, however, you are not allowed to make direct sales with the country. Therefore, only market research and advertising of the parent company can be carried out.
